Malt, Belgian candy scent. Pours amber with a thin foam. Nice taste of of Belgian yeast, good carbonation, good malt character. Good palate and overall a decent beer. Percy0103 (766) - MEXICO - JAN 21, 2016
Bottle, 330ml. A reddish beer with a small brown head. Aroma is of belgian yeast, alcohol, spiced and a hint of yeast. Taste is bitter with a medium alcohol finish. Some carbonation and astringency. It has some character of a typical belgian beer, but nothing remarkable. Sdaniel90 (1080) - Mexico City, MEXICO - JAN 21, 2016
Bottle, 33cl. Clear copper with a frothy tan head. Aromas of citrus, Belgian yeast, vanilla, alcohol. Sweet with low bitterness. Creamy and fizzy, with subtle malt and fruity character and a stinging alcohol finish. Pleasant but generic. MoritzF (9851) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JAN 2, 2016
(bottle, 33cl) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Bready and mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel and subtle pear-fruity notes, accompanied by traces of bubblegum and a whiff of alcohol. Sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Bready cara-malty and moderately toasty taste; mildly toasted malty and sweet finish with a tinge of bitterness. Okay. 31.XII.15 planky84 (3214) - Lee, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2015
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Brown pour with a off-white head, soon dissipates. Rich nose of burnt toffee, currants, red berries, red apple. Lots of sweetness in the flavour- more toffee, some berries, toffee apple. Rich, orchard fruit linger. Tasty.

Bottle from Drinkshop. Moderate to light high body, with lots of rich malty and also spicy flavours. Fruitiness, sour cherry, also classic peppery spicy Belgian yeast character. Moderate to light high carbonation. Quite good and easy drinking - alcohol hidden well. The_Osprey (7883) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2015
330ml bottle at home in Blaendulais as ’Leffe Vieille Cuvée’, 8.2% BB May 2017, purple foil. Dark amber orange, totally clear and still, thin layer of foam leaves full lacing. Aroma is sweet, mostly barbeque sauce, soft smoke. Body is medium, foamy yet rounded, low carbonation. Taste is sweet, rounded, raisin, touch of smoke, a little spicy booze showing up. Better than expected. It’s unashamedly sweet but not overly so.
