Bottle. Hazy apricot colored pour with thin head and light lacing. Boozy aroma of apricot and dates, candy. Big and aggressive body, warming and burning. Fruity, baked bread, high alcohol. Better as it warms but over the top.
You made a Bold One, Super great on the pallet.,and Ive been waiting a long time for someone to do it.

Worst beer Iíve had in a long time. Absolutely disgusting. I mean it makes PBR taste good. I just about puked when I tried it and that is no exaggeration. Belgian style tripel, funny joke. FunkyF (1171) - ÷rebro, SWEDEN - DEC 16, 2016
Flaska pŚ Thunder Bay Grille Pewaukee. Orangefšrgad med vitt skum. Tung doft med bourbon, torkad frukt och kola. Lite spretig med kola och torkad frukt. alassio (96) - USA - NOV 29, 2016
A great tripel is like a flavor/texture starburst; this one is like a stomp through a swamp. First of all, it looks scary: itís murky, brown, sewage-like, without enough carbonation to at least lend it a transcendent bit of zest. On the palate an initial inviting citrusy element quickly succumbs to outright bitterness. An earthy, vegetal bitterness that overwhelms. Iíve had quite a few bland/dull tripels - - itís a tough style to excel in. This one is not bland/dull - - itís an unbalanced murky mess. Maybe it was on the shelf at the Total Wine in Vegas for a couple years - - I can only hope thatís the problem - - because this borders on undrinkable.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2016 Restrained funky aroma in a golden amber pour. Huge malt body belies the style - but is eminently drinkable. Way too strong to enjoy as many as one would want though. jgb9348 (6194) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - AUG 23, 2016
Rich muddied brown coloured body with an amber glow and a very thick tan head. Aroma of honey, malt, toffee, caramel and a good deal of oak and vanilla and a ton of alcohol still noticeable. Full-bodied; Flavours of cereal, malt, oak, vanilla, honey, toffee, spices, coriander seed and a lot of alcohol to finish. Aftertaste is rich and very full-bodied with a ton of malt, toffee, caramel and especially alcohol warmth around. Overall, a nice beer that has a LOT to it, especially the texture with alcohol and depth, but this is more of a quad than a tripel, still, nice to try here in Hawaii, but this is a bad place to try this one - especially in the summer. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Manama Market in Haleiwa, Oíahu, Hawaii on 21-August-2016 for US$9,49 sampled in my hotel room here in Waikiki a few hours later on 21-August-2016. Bottle shared by Joes. Hazy orange color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetness, candy sugar, brown sugar. Meh. Body and carbonation werenít bad though. truth (2) - La Mirada, California, USA - JUN 30, 2016 does not count
I see complaints about this beer. I donít know. I really like it. Itís easy drinking. Iíve had every type of belgian style tripel around, my favs are the Trappistes Rochefort 6,8 and 10. The problem is those are overly expensive for 11.2 ounce beers. Hell, those beers (like the 10) are around 7$ a bottle.
This one is 6.50$ usd in my area (southern california) and itís really enjoyable. People say the alcohol is present, I donít really sense that. What I get is a smooth drinking beer that gets nice as it warms up a bit. Itís got a tad of sweetness, but itís not overwhelming. Itís got some tiny smoke to it, maybe some currant and vanilla and I donít know.
Itís just damn good. Not sure what people complain about. AskForJenny (1085) - Ontario, New York, USA - APR 30, 2016
This is a great copy of a Belgian. Itís close, but itís no cigar. Yeasty nose - check. Golden color - check. Lace - negative. Breast palate - check. Layers in the taste - negative.
