Orangeish pour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel and spice. Flavor is thin but a bit spicy and grainy. No discernible pumpkin. Meh. hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - NOV 27, 2010

On tap @ 1702 - Pours a crystal clear golden color with a small white head. Light lacing. Aroma is light spices. Flavor is kinda sweet and loaded with spice. Thin body. Very one dimensional. Worth a try, I guess. FlacoAlto (4220) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - FEB 21, 2010

A clear, copper to orange-tinged amber hue. Aroma of spice and not much else (though that could be the Two Hearted I have been enjoying getting in the way). The flavor has a light sweetness that provides some balance to the pumpkin pie spicy beer. It is better than Buffalo Bill’s pumpkin because it does have some sweetness to hold the spiciness in check. The sweetness has overtones of caramel from the crystal malt. The spices tast of allspice, cinnamon and expecially of nutmeg, which lingers on for quite some time in the finish. There is perhaps a hint of piquant ginger here that lends a subtle note towards the middle. Not bad, especially if you like pumpkin beers and I definitely like that it is a touch more on the balanced side than something like Buffalo Bill’s Pumpkin Ale.
