Pours two fingers of head on a hazy dirty straw body.
The aroma is hay, barn with hay, borderline musty and caramel.
The taste is caramel sweet, pine and grapefruit bitterness.
The texture is fuller.
It’s a robust red ale. PorterPounder (8396) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 18, 2015
Tallahassee, Fl. - Whole Foods - 22 oz bomber. Pours a sparkling medium copper with a long lasting, but thinnish off-white head. Aroma has some sweet candy-like notes, a touch of cherries, Flavor is mellow, with some fruity cherry like accents, a touch of nice subtle bitterness, some toffee-like sweetness. Nicely textured mouthfeel. Pretty decent. BlackHaddock (8096) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2015
Three pints on tap at the Dana Point Board and Brew outlet on Golden Lantern, 2nd June 2015. Nice red hue to the brews looks, a weak, thin head appeared on all three pours. Malt lead to the nose with a semi-sweet caramel feel, taste also malty: good hop balance and a very easy to drink brew (hence the three pints0.

Tap at brewery. Copper with small white head . Hoppy nose. Malty first then some hop at the end. Finish wasn’t great. It didn’t quite work for me. BelgianBeerGal (4289) - Panama City, Florida, USA - MAY 23, 2015
Sample at Grassroots in Jax. Nice bronze color with a tan head. Giddy aroma of sweeter hops and malt. Very balanced flavor with good bitterness but a solid backbone too. Nice. Braudog (6944) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAR 23, 2015
Bottle. Rusty orange, wtih a big poofy head. This had a slight eruption, and given the source, may be a little dated. This has a wild side, a little funky, and a little dirty. But this drinks with a sturdy ruddy ale character. (#5947, 3/23/2015) ABUSEDGOAT (2933) - California, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Reddish colored, moderate head, solid lace/retention. Aroma is chewy caramel, grapefruit, sugar, citrus. Medium bodied, watery mouthfeel. This is a red/amber ale. BVery (11512) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Tap at Butcher and the Boar. Reddish amber pour with a big pillowy head. Some pine, caramel malts. Moderate mouthfeel. Fuck - 9 bucks with tip for this, and it’s just okay.
