Way too over the top hoppy for me, and not in a good way. Bitter smelling abrasive aroma. Flavor is slightly better but just too bitter, with less aromatics and a ton of spice and bitterness. Not very pleasant.

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours Cloudy golden with acthick off-white head and a sweet toffee and citrus aroma. There is a full-bodied pale malt flavor with a hugely bitter finish.

On tap @ Slater’s 50/50 Anaheim. Clear bright orange pour with a white head. Super juice citrus and pineapple aroma. Somewhat sweet but a nice bit of stone fruit. Slight resin and alcohol. Flavor is a bit on the sweet side as well. Caramel, apricot, and pineapple are very noticeable. A ton of grapefruit and and orange juice. Mildly booze and grass. Some pine and resinous bitterness. Smells better than it tastes.

Poured up on tap at the Papago Hopageddon event where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a bright white head. The aroma offers up resiny pine, thick sweet malts, a dash of citrus and then more pine at the end of the draw. The taste is smooth and sticky and sweetened resiny pine hops with thin citrus notes off at the edges. It has lime candy here and there too. This is just a solid resiny thick sipper of a brew that actually attains some balance. Bold and big with biggness to spare.

Draft. Clear golden amber with frothy off white head. Loaded with hops. Plenty of malt back. Moderate to high bittersweet. Bitter dry finish. Missing some complexity and subtlety. Some heat. A bit harsh.

Clear golden orange in color... Aroma of citrusy resinous hops, caramel, toffee... Flavor is intensely citrusy and sweet to balance intense citrus hop bitterness and lingering spicy hop palate... Like chewing hops, raw hop finish... Really nice
