Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean, and pleasantly hoppy. With every sip this tasty IPA will take you back to your escape, such as local surf spot Trestles. Its strong copper color and clean finish on the palate are created by brewing with a 2-row malt and light imported crystal malt. We use CTZ and chinook hops and follow it up with the addition of dry hops of chinook and centennial in the fermenter bringing out a citrus aroma. Find your escape.

olio (10695) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2015
355 ml bottle.
Pours clear golden color with a large white head. Grapefruits and orange on the aroma mostly, some resinous notes, mild hops and pale malts. Mild cardboard-y notes tell something about the freshness. Flavor is sweet malty and slightly fruity, some resinous hops there too. Slightly malty IPA and unfortunately not very fresh, could have been good.

HopfenWeisse (1558) - - OCT 19, 2015
Golden amber color with small head. Aroma is malt, hops. Flavor is caramel, citrus, malt. Well balanced IPA.

Bouteille 355ml.

BeerdedDave (2010) - Beckley, USA - OCT 4, 2015
cloudy, amber color; nice citrusy hop aroma; nice hoppy flavor; citrusy hops with tropical fruit notes; fairly light to medium bodied, bready malt base with light caramel notes

I used to live in San Clemente over 30 years ago and would often body surf at the Trestles! Nice to see the place immortalized on a beer! Good hoppy scent without being the typical truckload of Cascades, a bit more subtle and very fragrant. Cut grass, clover honey, blood orange. Dark golden color with beige head. Bitter with floral notes up front, some grainy sweetness but the bitter hops are the stars of this show.

355mL bottle from Slowbeer Pours a slightly hazy orange gold body, small white head persists. Fragrant aroma, typical American hop affair - fresh pine, cut grass, grapefruit with good hit of biscuity, toast caramel malt. Medium bodied, smooth body, moderate carbonation - very drinkable! Body opens with nice caramel malts lending sweetness to pine needle, woody, grass hops, bitter citrus. Plenty of bitterness, lingering finish. Nice IPA, ticks all of the boxes.

330ml bottle @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Pours light amber with a big off-white head, filtered. Aroma is malty, light sugar notes, light hops presence. Flavour is medium sweet and malty with a decent bitter end. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not so fresh.

BBD where? so i have no idea how old, what is left is caramel malt, slightly hazy amber, very little aromatic hops, maybe some citrus but mostly malt and a fair amount of bitterness. Probably not a good sample.
