Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent light copper with off-white lacing. Smells of lager yeast and mild malt with a touch of toastiness. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. An easy drinker, but forgettable. SudsMcDuff (8541) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAR 31, 2012

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Slightly sparkling medium copper pour, slight off white head that hangs around a while. Light brown sugar in the aroma, some molasses. Flavor is on the sweet side, some canned baked brown bread, some brown sugar, a touch of dates and molasses. Mouthfeel is thick enough, Idiosynkrasie (8206) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - DEC 10, 2016
355ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, dark amber colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty aroma with a toasty touch, hints of caramel. Taste is slightly sweet (cara-)malty, minimally toasty, cautious, unspecific fruitiness somewhere between peach and strawberry. Clean & fine. Sledutah (7978) - Utah, USA - APR 9, 2013

Appearance: Pours clear amber with a medium sized off-white head and some lacing
Aroma: Sweet malts, earthy, nutty and lemon zest
Taste: Malts, earthy, lemon and semi-sweet finish
A nice unique beer.
Large sample at the Clay Oven, Irvine CA on 14th July 2014 during an Indian food and beer tasting evening. Amber body, almost clear, thin white head. Light malty nose with a sweet hint. The taste is also on the sweet side initially with mild caramel and tropical fruitiness, Hops do calm the brew down and give some bitterness mid-sip but the semi-sweetness arrives again in the finish. Pleasant without getting me excited. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUN 7, 2011
Bottle. Pours with a clear orange to amber body with a small and not very retentive off-white head. Slowly fades to a ring. Some lacing. Aromas of malty first, nutty (maybe even husky), bready, lightly toasted. Hazelnuts, a hint of salinity. Pretzels. Minimal hop notes. A hint of esters which seems out of place. Flavors are nutty, biscuity, and again a hint of salinity. Medium bitterness that rounds to an overall neutral balance. Hop flavors are very minimal. No esters on the flavor. Some crispness and a short duration. Medium to lively bubbles, a bit high in alcohol for what I am use to from a Vienna. Seems like the water is pretty high in bicarbonate (getting some bite on the sides of the tongue). Decently dry finish. No real flaws. Decent. Ernest (7889) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 21, 2013
Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light to medium amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, husks, caramel), lightly hoppy (herbs), with notes of concrete and detergent.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, husky.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
Quite industrial and grainy, which of course is accurate in terms of the beer it’s attempting to mimic, but why would you want to intentionally make a poorly-crafted beer? wlajwl (7210) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Aroma is malts and caramel/sweetness. The flavor is mildly roasted malts, caramel, light sweetness and fruit and smooth finish. AmEricanbrew (7080) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Bright dark amber color with fleeting ivory foam. Toasty, nutty malt aromas. medium body with average co2. Toasty, nutty, lagered caramel flavors with mild fuel alcohol--not bad.
