Initially I couldnt pick the aroma, but then it settles to a pleasant chocolate. Deep dark colour with a mocha head of some substance. Bittery chocolate initially, but with a nice malty back, not so long a taste though, and you get left with that bitterness.

Bottle. Very dark brown-almost black, small to average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, roasted malt, some coffee and light chocolate, light hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor with some roasted malt and some coffee with light chocolate, light hoppyness. Finish is average, lightly sweetish-sweetish, some roasted malt, some coffee with light chocolate, light-some hoppyness, faint alcohol. Nice IS with roastiness. Not overly too much coffee. Could be drier. Head is quite weak.

Pours a dark brown with a smooth, nitrogen-infused dark taupe head. Maple, peppery bacon nose. Thick, smooth mouthfeel. The flavors approximate the aromas.
