22 oz bottle. Aroma: roasty, malty, and boozy, with hints of coffee and toffee. Taste/Palate: sweet and creamy throughout; finishes slightly astringent. This has everything I look for in an Imperial Stout. Perfect! Mikerodrigo (5) - - JAN 19, 2013 does not count
I can see why the World Cup of 2012 gave a bronze medal to this beer. It is smooth, not syrupy at all. Extremely well balanced in flavor, texture, and after taste. Strong coffee notes followed by the espresso. Great beer indeed.

Pours pitch black with small brown suds. Smells strongly of roasted barley, chocolate, and coffee. Taste of chocolate, coffee, with some roasted characteristics. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Left Coast Voo Doo American Stout finishes with chocolate bitterness. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 20, 2013
An exceptional stout. High alcohol is masked by the richness of the chocolate and roasted coffee character. Medium bodied, deep brown with tan head. julesjis (256) - Oregon, USA - NOV 5, 2014
Poured from a 22. Aroma is roasty and malty with hints of coffee. First sip has a tiny bite to it but overall it is pretty smooth. Flavor is rich with toasted malts, coffee hints and burnt sugar hints. Overall a great beer!

Pours well, white head dissipates quickly leaving not quite sump oil but thick looking black liquid. chocolate / coffee nose (heavenly). Mouth feel full well rounded and bitter (coffee/chocolate)

Very nice. Light carbonation leaves this so easy drinking. Smokey, roasty, sweetness equals very tasty. kathouse (1893) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - JUL 5, 2012
Commercial description hits this one on the head. Black with a nice foamy tan head. Predominantly roasted and burnt malt character in the aroma. Some earthy hop notes but malt is huge. Flavor is toasted, black, and ashy. Not sticky, but a good body and dry, bitter finish. Like this one. Fatehunter (2567) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 15, 2013
Two and half fingers of tan head on a black body. The pour had bubbles dancing all over.
The aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Really nice.
The taste starts with a mild bitter, then dark bitter chocolate, a little caramel and finishes with milk. Amazing depth, complexity and development.
Smooth texture with low carbonation and a heavy body.
The taste was perfect and the rest of the beer supported it well. rcasta (864) - EL SALVADOR - JAN 4, 2014
