Black pour with a 1 finger, soapy to creamy tan head that has good retention. Aroma is full of roast and nutty notes, some chocolate, dark coffee, burnt sugar, licorice and light, but sharp dark fruit notes. Flavor is slightly sweet caramel and chocolate up front, reminds me of a Riesen’s candy, actually, then a little char, nutty notes, coffee, a little toffee, light leather and mineral notes and some light fruity and pine notes to the finish. Medium body with a creamy feel throughout and a light to moderate carbonation with a fairly soft feel. Very good stuff overall, the flavor profile is dead on, I could drink a ton of this stuff, unfortunately the price and alcohol content means I won’t.
Bottle shared at Cotteridge convention 05/03/2016. Many thanks to Colin. A reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with asmall light tan head. Aroma is nutty hazelnut, chocolate, hint of praline, mellow wood. Flavour is composed of praline, vanilla, smooth chocolate, bounty bar. Palate is creamy with frothy moderate carbonation. zbyszek_cz (62) - POLAND - MAY 20, 2017
Fajny stoucik. W zapachu kawa, popiół, i trochę amerykańskich chmieli. W smaku mocno palone, pełne, lekko jakby mleczne.

Opaque black color with a khaki colored head of creamy foam. Rich notes of caramel balanced with robust roasted barley and mild roast coffee. Some bakers chocolate and earthy black licorice and dried figs round it out. A well-rounded stout. Korcz (3310) - Warsaw, POLAND - APR 13, 2017
Przeciętny, mocno palony, niezbyt bogaty Stout. Na plus całkiem fajna likierowość.

Cocoa, bitter chocolate in the end. Quite dry finish. Cocoa in the aftertaste. Rather medium bodied, medium carbonated, wuite nicely balanced stout.
