A close play that happens so fast you might miss it – or have to take a second look. This refreshing sour pops with aromas of freshly sliced lemon and papaya, with flavours of bright fruit punch, sour candy, tangerine and subtle hints of pineapple. Dry hopped with Citra, Summer and Simcoe, a fruity, tropical hop punch and crisp, tart finish make Bang-Bang a perfect summer refresher worthy of a replay.

Draft at Dylan’s on danforth. Hazy orange body, small white head. The aroma is fruity. The taste is very fresh, lots of lemon and ginger. Wonderful.

2017-12-02. Hazy orange body, small off-white head. 3+ Aroma is an interesting melange of tangy fruit, light cereals. Flavour is moderately sour throughout, lemon, light vaguely lactic cereals. 7+ Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Solid, just a touch more cereal grainy malt character than my preference. 7/3/7/3/15-16 On tap at Left Field, Toronto.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2017 [9775-20171030] Tap. Fruity citrus aroma has a lovely mix of fleshy tangerine and orange and something tropical. Hazy, pale orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Citrusy fruit and lemon-infused cucumber pineapple flavour. Medium body has a sour tangy aftertaste. Interesting, lovely aroma but the flavour doesn't quite match and I'm not sure why not. (9/3/7-/3+/13) 3.6-

[9864B-20171202] Tap. Floral honey on toasted bread aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Soured fruity grapes and honeyed floral grains flavour. Medium body has an odd funky note. Interesting but has a sour kick. (6/3/7-/3+/14) 3.3

650 ml bottle from the brewery bottle shop. Pours a cloudy golden colour with average-sized white head. Aroma is nice and sour with lemon, papaya, lychee and peach. Flavour is big and sour with puckering tropical fruit, lemon and light berries. Lingering tartness. Oh yeah.

A milky yellow ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet lemon pie with light acidity, light Brett, faint vanilla, pleasant. In mouth, a nice tart lemon malt with resinous hop, light grapeskins, puckering and challenging. On tap at funkfest 2017.

Bottle from brewery. Bottled June 8th. Holy shit, this a fantastic sour beer. Pours golden yellow with a picket fence white slice of foam. The body of this beer is soooo bright. Nose is ripe papaya drizzled with squeezed lemon. Taste is unsweetened fuzzy peach candy, swirls of fresh hops & a refreshing tartness. Mouthfeel is prickly. In fact, it’s alive. Great sipper on an early summer evening, sitting on the back deck, watching the sun get blotted out by dark storm clouds. Recommended.
