[Draught at Beerbistro] Pours a cloudy copper-gold with an average size semi-lasting frothy white head. Some minimal lacing. Nice hoppy aroma: Citrusy, herbal and grassy along with some slightly sweet bready malt and a hint of alcohol. Pleasant bitter flavour follows the aroma. Again, some alcohol present but just a little. Medium bodied. Interesting hop and a pretty good beer.
650 ml bottle from brewery. Pours a modestly cloudy golden colour with an average-sized white head. Aroma is lemon zest, herbs and some vinous character. Flavour is lemony and herbal hops with a bit of white wine sort of character. Average body. Nice.
Bottle from brewery. Bottled March 9th. Pretty sure this is the first time I’m trying this hop variety. A cloudy lemon yellow body with a creamy one finger cap on top. Distinct tasting hop in this smash. It’s a deep grassy hop flavour, with medium brightness & a fresh green cone taste. Dig deeper & there’s something almost herbal, perhaps lemongrass? I’d suggest dumping a bit more hops in with this one as it’s almost not strong enough to blaze the trail as is. Love this Prospect series as it allows me to educate my beer senses while elevating a buzz. Recommended.
