St Petersburg, Fl. - Rollin’ Oats Health Food Store - 12 oz bottle. Murky medium orange pour with a sticky white head that leaves a nice sticky coat of lacing. Aroma is initially that of toe-jam bit if mellows out after a while to something approximating orange marmalade. Nice subtle bitterness with some apricots, a bit of light citrus, hint of mint. Mouthfeel is nice and thick. larsniclas (7297) - Billdal, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2010

Pours a pale gold sporting a very small white head, quickly fading. Just a slight haze and some sediment in the bottle. Nose is of breads, toast, nutty malt, herbal hops and maybe just a little sourness. no fruity esters. Taste is again balanced with evident English malt and earthy hops. no citrus but sweet. bitterness is there but weak. Finishes with a lingering earthy hop profile and noticeable London yeast character. Seems like a good English example. not my favorite style but I like it better than others I’ve had. nice and powerful malted barley beer gives an almost harsh component to the hops that are powerful enough to compete. yeasty wheat adds just a touch to the mouthfeel and a deep caramel British style ale component leaves this a satisfying brew indeed! tastes dark and really isn’t. nice ale. tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - JUL 28, 2010
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange. The aroma is spicy hops and raisins. The flavor is grassy and spicy hops with some caramel beneath it. Assertive bitterness in the finish. Decent for what it is. Borresteijn (7602) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 28, 2010
355ml Bottle from De Bierkoning. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of slightly stale hops, a little fruity, light metallic, a bit of caramel. Flavour is light sweet, light fruity, light malty, piney bitterness underneath, caramel, hoppy and slightly metallic bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Refreshing, easy drinking, but not outstanding. rougeau13 (3279) - Richmond, Texas, USA - JUL 28, 2010
