Draft at sb. Pours black with a dense and creamy surging tan head. Huuuge coffee nose, like a fresh mug of decent overly roasted supermarket coffee. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Roasty coffee mid palate. Long roasty dry coffee finish. EcnarM (112) - Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA - JUN 3, 2014

Dark, but not heavy. Deeply coffee flavored, but not overpowering. A delicious change of pace from richer stouts or porters while still keeping a similar flavor profile. keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - APR 27, 2014

Appearance: The body is deep chestnut hiding light through all but the edges. The head is short and foamy, short lived too, just a soapy light tan mess on top.
Aroma: The aroma is prominently coffee with a hint of mocha, very nice if you like coffee. The aroma has good strength and is nicely separated instead of muddled together.
Taste: Prominent, but not out of balance, coffee runs through the palate with a minor malty backing hinting at cocoa. The finish lingers of cold coffee with a hint of hazelnut creamer and mocha.
Palate: This is a bit thin, but moderately carbonated.
Overall: The only real gripes I have are the lack of depth in the aroma and flavor. The coffee dominates, in a nice way, but there’s little more to add to this. I really enjoy it though.
Tap. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small fizzy light brown head. The nose is huge on the coffee, some nice chocolate and roast notes as well. It tastes more like a coffee than a beer actually, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing for me. The malt backbone is a bit thin though, and doesn’t really provide all that great of a structure for the coffee to rest on. Lighter bodied with fizzy carbonation and a lingering coffee finish. Ok, but not the best Porter. dlovell2 (2097) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Dark brown with a tan head. Roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee aromas. Sweet caramel start with roaste malt flavors, some chocolate notes and finishing with coffee. jeremyh70 (1103) - Missouri, USA - MAR 19, 2014
On tap at Rock & Run Brewery. Pours a dark brown with good clarity, a creamy tan head twitch good lacing. Big espresso aroma with cocoa and almost burnt toast. Perfect espresso and coffee bean flavor first in taste with cocoa and some scorched sugar sweetness. Moderately roasty porter flavor supports all this nicely in the background. Finishes roasty dry. Mouthfeel is just a tad light to be creamy but that makes it more drinkable, with moderate carbonation. Fantastic porter with perfect coffee elements. Very drinkable for a full flavored beer. Enjoyed very much and would love to have again.
