Draught at Lucky’s celebrating my XXth birthday...a lady never tells! Really a mild mannered, coffee infused porter. The coffee was there but lurking in the background and not dominating. Really easy drinking with a lighter body. Fine. elgiacomo (745) - Ringgold/Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, USA - APR 19, 2012

Pours black with a decent tan head that fades quickly to a light wispy cap but leaves some nice lacing behind.
Aroma is very coffee-forward, and they’re some nice beans too, dark roasted malts, some chocolate, smoke/char, maybe a little caramel and bread as well, but mostly coffee and some smoke. Very good strength.
Flavor generally mirrors the aroma...a lot of coffee and a fair bit of smoke. Premium coffee, smoked malt, roasted malt, some chocolate, vanilla, caramel, a little earthy hops, moderate sweetness, mild bitterness, minimal alcohol.
Mouthfeel is light/medium bodied, moderate carbonation, somewhat sticky. A little on the thin side, but fits the style fine.
Really nice stuff. Excellent aroma, nice flavor. Quality beans and I like the smoky aspects as well. It would probably be in my best interest to get another growler of this before the keg kicks!
2/16/12 on tap at pap
Dark porter color, beige/ lite briwn head.
F is the same but with a litte lacto sweetness and phlegmy.
Mild dry bitterness on finish.
Fuller than typical body...fairly dry but with a slick sugar feel underneath. 8/4/7/4/15 Daytonbeer (730) - Ohio, USA - MAR 17, 2012
Pours jet black with nice tan lacing. Aroma is alittle too light...coffee and malts. Taste is coffee, licorice, soy sauce, and carmel. Very nice taste. Dogbrick (13026) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Sample at 1808 American Bistro during the Bell’s Tap Takeover. The beer pours brownish-black with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of roasted coffee and malt. Medium body with a roasty character and notes of dark chocolate and malt. The finish is malty with a coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.

It’s medium to full bodied with a roast coffee finish. Good. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - DEC 25, 2011
