Pours a typical nitro serving pour. Black with 2 fingers of tannish foam.
Smells of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted/burnt malt. Lactose.
Coffee, semi sweet chocolate, burnt malt, lactose. Yeah, bittersweet.
Creamy mouthfeel, decent enough but when I finish the 4-pack, I'm done. ekstedt (7031) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 19, 2018
Bottle (355 ml) from Systembolaget. Black, beige head. Roasted malt aroma with some coffee notes, green pepper. Full bodied, soft carbonation. Semi dry, low to medium bitterness. BarrelTamer12 (10) - Illinois, USA - DEC 13, 2017
This big stout get’s aggressive with a boost from Allegro Coffee’s Exotic Mocha Java Blend. The coffee’s dark cherry flavors and spicy undertones weave into the rich, milky sweet stout like a chocolate-covered espresso bean melting on your tongue. Bitter then sweet. Sweet then bitter. It’s Bittersweet.

On tap at Draft Taproom. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, brownie. Brown-black with a satiny smooth, lasting, light tan head. Dry, roasty, coffee, chocolaty. Full bodied. tmoreau (4805) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - DEC 3, 2017
Nitro dispensed to a snifter at The Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn, IL. displaying an opaque, black/brown hue after the cascade show, with a lingering, finger's width of brownish tan, mousse-like froth, and curtainy cling to the lacing. The nose was pronounced espresso roast, with a slight cocoa edge. Medium+ bodied, the taste was similar notes, with minimal effervescence after a short-live nitro effect, contributing to an escalating impression of a flattening/thinning texture. Some booze, assertive roasted & earthy bitterness, and a finishing dryness balanced out my flavor uncertainty.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2017 Draft at Bru Craft. Opaque black pour. Brown head. Milk-cocoa coffee flavors. Chocolate liquorice. Molasses. Cold Turkish coffee. Hard to tell if the vanilla is real or artificial. Clean dark finish. StefanSD (2468) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - APR 30, 2017
Bottle. Best by 7-12-17. Blackish with a small beige head that recedes to a fine film. The aroma is rife with coffee, coffee and coffee. The taste is more complex than expected with coffee, mocha, dark chocolate, vanilla and black walnuts. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and bittersweet--just as the name implies. Overall: If you like big coffee stouts this is a must. mrjaxson (641) - .08 Junction, Wisconsin, USA - APR 9, 2017
Poured hard but not much to show for the effort. Aroma is a good mix of licorice and coffee. Taste is indeed bitter and sweet. Body has a nice weight. It would be possible to have more than one and not get a milk stout bloat.
