Znakomite ciemne IPA z Colorado. Piana spora ale sredniotrwala. Kolor istnie czarny, gesty i jak Guinness bez przeswitu. Zapach chmielowo-kawowy. Smak to gozka czekolada, gozka czarna kawa, troche orzecha i oczywiscie przerozne chmiele amerykanskie od aromatycznych po zwlaszcza goryczkowe. Polecam bo to swietne Black IPA Dedollewaitor (16387) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 19, 2013
Bottle @ Y.N.W.A, Beershop. Pours black with a small creamy head. Nose is roast, citrus hops, caramel and coffee. Ashes and liquorice. Smooth and full bodied. Nice. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 17, 2013
Bottled. Poured medium-deep brown with a creamy, well-retained dark tan head. The aroma picked up fresh orange and grapefruit hoppage over toasted caramel and nutty malts.. seemed to be missing a little something, but it was well-balanced. The flavor found toasted caramel and licorice at the core with mostly orange zest bitterness around.. bitter and roasty with a bit of citrus sourness on the finish. Medium-bodied at most on the palate, and a bit slick.. OK feel, but I didn’t love it. DialSquare (5131) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 17, 2013
12oz bottle from ABC on Betton. Black pour with a medium tan head and good retention. Aroma is smoke, leather, dark malts. Tastes are the same with a lot more mixed in: dark fruit, grapefruit, perfume, citrus peel, coffee. Definitely a worthy sipper, but wouldn’t need it more than once. UPDATED: FEB 9, 2014 Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles.
Aroma: moderately grainy-malty with chocolate overtones.
Appearance: very small, light-brown, initial head that disappeared in seconds. Fair lacing. Dark-brown/black, cola-like body.
Taste: lightly sweet, roasty initial flavor and finish with long duration.
Palate: medium-to-full body with watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: excellent. Interesting flavor to the last drop. Neither too sweet nor too bitter. brnandersen (4109) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 12, 2013
355 ml. bottle poured in to a tulip. Pitch black with a medium sized frothy head. Aroma with roasted malts, citrus, chocolate. A hint of coffee and pines. Taste is bitter and roasted. Medium body, creamy texture. Finishes long lasting bitter with coffee, chocolate and citrus hops. Good Black IPA. cmargu997 (3) - - APR 6, 2013 does not count
Citrusy bitterness that illuminates this black ale and temps the palate with a darkness that only lingers for a moment.
