Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of bakers, cocoa, roastiness, rye and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, bakers cocoa, light roastiness and light earthiness with a smooth dry lingering cocoa/rye finish.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with a moderate frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted sweet malt, coffee and wood aroma. Bottle shared with my dad on Festivus. Pours a dark black with a thin to medium sized beige to tan head that deflates quickly. Some spicy rye and citrus right away on the nose, caramel over long roast. Medium-bodied, cocoa, chocolate, a bit of rye. Warm citrus and roast on the finish. Cocoa, lingering light bitterness.
