Ingredients: Water; Malted barley; Ginger root; Hops; Yeast.
Our beer is basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. The beer is light in body, lower in alcohol, has a distinct ginger aroma, and has a very crisp finish. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime. Popular demand turned it into a year round beer.

I really wanted this beer to be good. It tastes slightly malty sweet with barely a noticeable hint of ginger. If it didn't say ginger on the label I would not have noticed it. Beer is also almost flat. Perhaps I received an old bottle? The only good thing to say about the beer is that it is rather refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz can. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of ginger candy. Flavors of watery beer and ginger. Ginger beef as stated. Good juju - I don’t know...

appearance: clear gold, quickly fading white head. aroma: yup, ginger with some cracker, pepper, and lemon. taste: as the aroma indicates. finish: clean and gingery, medium palate. notes: Not bad. Not completely one dimensional, with some nice heat coming through in that ginger note.

On tap at Old Chicago. Water with a slight taste of ginger. For the first time, Left Hand disappoints

gephross100 (943) - Bellaire, Texas, USA - MAY 14, 2017
Pour from a 12oz bottle pours clear with an amber color with a solid white head that lasts. Ginger and vanilla nose. Malty mild sweetness. Light body average carbonation. Very aqueous.

Pretty light, which actually makes the ginger accessible and tasty. Aromas of spice and ginger. Light and beery, biscuit and ginger. Thin, watery finish, though.

12 ounce can at home . Big white, fluffy head. No lace on glass. Golden in color. Smell the ginger, somewhat smell like lemon also. Taste the ginger. Pretty smooth with no after bite. Pretty unique brew. Pretty good beer.

12 oz bottle from Beer52.com. An amber pour with a fast fading white head; beery ginger aroma; an immediate ginger hit in the mouth, but much softer than expected; then a warming root ginger prickle, leading to a rather thin finish. Clean, refreshing and well balanced. Much better than most ginger beers.

Cajun (534) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - NOV 2, 2016
Bottle - Pours medium amber with thin head. Aroma of fermented breads and ginger. The flavors are same, but additionally floral notes, definitely ginger... with a dry hops finish.
