COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style of beer, also known as Sweet Stout or Cream Stout, first appeared in London in the late 1800s. The early brewers touted the health benefits of the milk sugar in this beer which today relates mainly to the increased amount of calories(no real health benefitssorry). The milk sugar adds a well rounded sweetness to this dark beer and makes it an outstanding, year round stout.

Nice malty aroma...plenty of coffee and roasted chocolate malt. Flavor is quite unique....the sweetness of the milk sugar combined with the roasted coffee creates a cappuccino flavor....quite pleasant.

Bottle, pours black. Light but sweet chocolate and coffee aroma. Very nice. Heavy up front with roasted malt, coffee taste complimented with a nice creamy slightly chocolate taste. The heavy carbonation complimentes the creamy soft taste so it does not leave it watered down. No heavy hop taste unlike many stouts which makes this ridiculously smooth. Good stuff

bottle bought in Systembolaget - Stockholm. Appearance: dark brown to black color. Medium head, beige and with quickly collapse. Aroma: toasted malts, chocolaty milk, quaker with milk and cream. Flavor: start with a soft toast and with creamy oats. Later, reminiscences of sweet chocolate, lactose, cream, cappuccino , vanilla, butter-cookies and sponge cake. Palate: full body, very creamy and viscous texture. Low carbonation. Remark: nice milk hints, sweet but this one isnt sickly, very good texture. Advisable.

355 ml bottle. From Sweden. Very dark almost black colour with beige head. Aroma is roasted malts and some sour milk and coffee. Flavour is too much coffee for me to enjoy. Sweet and dry at the same time. Too much coffee for me.
