COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English style of beer, also known as Sweet Stout or Cream Stout, first appeared in London in the late 1800s. The early brewers touted the health benefits of the milk sugar in this beer which today relates mainly to the increased amount of calories(no real health benefitssorry). The milk sugar adds a well rounded sweetness to this dark beer and makes it an outstanding, year round stout.

On nitro tap in a pint glass. Excellent creamy texture, smooth, and plenty of chocolate and malt aromas. Good section of head and excellent lacing on the glass. Plenty of malt on the palate with chocolate and notes of coffee. Overall an excellent stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from beerhawk. Absolutely gorgeous milk stout, tastes honestly so smooth as if drinking milk completely. Dark chocolate, alcoholic tobacco. Just fabulous.

0,33l Bottle, Nitro label. Hard pour as recommended. Pours withs a fat black color and a very fine, muddy brown head. This time I used Stout-Glassware from Spiegelau the first time and on my opinion does the head preserve much longer and re-builds with each dram/mouthfull. Worth to try! The nose is milky coffee, dark chocolate, lighty cocoa and vanilla. Taste of milky-chocolate-coffee with vanilla. Very creamy and intense at only 6% vol. Very nice bodied Stout. Normaly Stout arent my favorite beers.

Bottle on nitro pours a standard stout with a one finger beige head and no lacing. Aroma is sweet mocha. Flavor is very delicious light coffee, milk, caramel. Aftertaste is simply wonderful. This is one damn good stout!

DATE: March, 12, 2017... OCCASION: Having celebrated Bobs birthday, home for a relaxing afternoon... GLASSWARE: Samuel Smith tulip pint... "pouring hard," as the label demands, the immediate single-finger head cascades into an extra finger of light muddy brown, caking into a sponge of uniformity... the show isnt long, but its effect is entertaining... its midnight black body allows nothing through... first sniff is lactic, lightly hopped, briny seasalted, cocoa beans, a bit of coffee bean, vanilla, and some trace earthiness... in all, awakens anticipation... at 6% ABV, warms slightly at the finish, but the the lingering effect is peat smoke and chocolate... a medium-bodied stout that displays texture through the mouth--sweetness to pique the tastebuds, but weighty on the back end to keep sips from piling up on themselves... thick, dense brown foam streaks the glass to its finish... creamy and nourishing, housing itself in the cheeks with sweetness... chocolate, coffee, sweet vanilla bean, and that lactic kick expectant in a milk stout makes for an equally sweet draw, one that is more nuanced than the more popular sweet or milk stouts out there... a great mid-afternoon sipper, hearty and flavorful, with holding power to spare... a nice (the best?) part of the mix pack I got from these brewers...

Bottle from beerhawk. Nitro version. Pours dark black with a light tan, creamy, tight foam head. Aromas of dark chocolate dusted rum truffles, bit of ash, bit of fudge. A little grain. Tastes strong black coffee with a bitter finish. Smooth dark malts. Creamy smooth body with very low carbonation. Personally I would have liked a sharper sparkle but other than that, I thought it was a wonderful milk stout.

Some how not quite enough flavor for me. Was expecting something sweeter. sort of coffee bean up front with a lingering sweetness on the back end. its very well balanced between the two, so thats probably why its rated so highly. I just like my milk stouts to be further on the sweet end. its not bad tho.
