Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout Nitro pours black with a creamy, light tan head. As I swirl the beer, lacing catches the side of the glass, and only slowly slides back down. Lots of aromas mix together in this one. There are roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and smoked meat. The taste follows suit quite nicely. Milk Stout Nitro is very smooth and creamy. The body is somewhere between average and full, probably a bit closer to full. The carbonation feels quite low.
Overall: I really can’t ask for anything more in a milk stout. Smooth, creamy and full of great roasted flavor. It’s almost like drinking alcoholic chocolate milk, but so much better. I highly recommend this!
Can. Pretty close to black with a mid tan head. Aroma of mocha and singed sugar. Just shy of medium bodied, soft rather than smooth. Tastes as it smells. Not too sweet with some lightening grassy bitterness. Straightforward, pleasant, harmonious - everything it should be. BeardedAvenger (795) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2017
Can at Rose and Thistle, Frimley. Sweet choc and coffee aroma. Roasty. Dark with cola tints. Creamy beige head. Served overly chilled so that probably reduced its impact. Bitter high notes with a sweet creamy core. Coffee, chocolate and lactose. Thick. Oily/creamy. A fizz of carbonation. Low key finish. Not cloying like some. Enjoyable. hauxe (766) - Butzbach, Hesse, GERMANY - JUL 15, 2017
Pours virtually black from the bottle and leaves a tan, creamy head. Aroma is roasted coffee, chocolate, heavy cream. Taste is milky sweet, nutty, uneventful. Finish is short and lightly sweet. Body is medium and silky smooth. Not bad. balloonbuffoon (325) - - JUL 8, 2017
12floz nitro bottle, BBD: 09.05.2017, paid $1.50 unit price. A soft, even, foamy head sits atop a near black body that releases a mild roast and sweet aroma. Creaminess acts to mute roasted malt flavors. The end result is a beer with a flavor profile comparable to a cup of coffee that is half milk with a packet of sugar. It is what it is, and it is decent. Towey1989 (2827) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2017
Can at Beerdock Leek. Pours a deep brown to black colour with a medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee, a little dark fruits and subtle lactose. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee and subtle lactose. Medium bodied, smooth texture and soft carbonation. A soft but dry, roasted malt bitterness in the finish. A very good milk stout, smooth and a creamy mocha flavour. Enjoyable.

LCI. Uit de fles geschonken (MS-Nitro). Mooie stout, zacht in de mond met een volle smaak, smaken van koffie en chocola en wat rokerig. Prima! SgtMattBaker (22) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2017
Exactly what I expect. Dark chocolate and coffee in the aroma, in taste more sweetness, caramel. Nice milk stout. Bobbyns (4) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JUN 15, 2017 does not count

On tap at Hops Northwest in New Westminster. An almost black beer with a ton of nitro head. Somewhat sweet. The lactose and nitrogen make this incredibly smooth. Tons of roasted malt flavors with hints of cocoa, coffee, and fruit. Nice. 3.8 Bacchus66 (375) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 4, 2017
From tap, Nitro. Nearly black with a creamy, cappuccino head. Toasty aromas, cocoa flavors, smooth palate, lingering finish.
