Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with lots of hops, medium notes of peaches, and light notes of over ripe fruits, and wood. The flavor is sweet and very fruity - just leaning towards being over ripe, combined with notes of wood, and a light alcohol note. It finishes with a slight alcohol burn in the throat. joergen (27983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 20, 2008

Bottled (9.1%), thanks ante! Cloudy dark amber, enormous head. Vaguely woody nose. Sweet and fairly soft, vastly malty with full body. Lots of caramel, with oak and vanilla chiming in. Warming and quite balanced with an emphasis on malt. madmitch76 (24388) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 26, 2015

Hazy deep amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is slightly viscous and semi dry with good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly bitter toffee in the smooth malts. Mild marmalade and then more bitterness. A bare whisper of vanilla oak. Mild caramel before a semi dry finish. Strangely un-engaging.
Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Thanks! Pours mostly clear amber with a foamy beige head. Sugary and bready, with notable alcohol, leafy hops, some woody dryness. Full bodied with average carbonation. Dry, bitter and wood on the finish with further leafy hops and dry caramel. OK.
