Thanks to Robert’s Reality for this. The pour was deep copper, with a 1 to 2-finger head. Caramel malt and some fruit was present in the aroma, with the flavor being caramel malt, some slight fruit, and some cabernet flavor in the finish. adnielsen (10601) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 18, 2011
Bottle @ home. Dark amber appearance with an off white head. Toasty caramel malty, slightly nutty, toffee, lightly grassy-floral hoppy nose. Grassy, caramel, toffee malty lager flavor with some floral notes. A little too sweet and unbalanced for my taste. KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 19, 2008
Clear reddish amber with medium beige head.sweet aroma with toasted malt and breadish notes. Sweet flavour with toasted malt, caramel and malty notes. BVery (10297) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - OCT 31, 2009
BOTTLE: amber pour with a reddish hue, small white head. Bread on the nose, maybe some caramel. Taste is toast, butterscotch, medium mouthfeel. Not too bad. alexsdad06 (10259) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 19, 2011
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. The aroma has toasted malts with mild sweetness and some ripe fruit character. The flavor has toasted malts, caramel notes with some moderately sweet ripe fruits. This comes off as being a bit watered down. Decent, but there are better Octoberfests available.

Bottle. Deep orange brown, hazy, with lace. Malty, caramel nose, bread. Lightly spicy hop flavor, raisin, caramel, oranges, bread. Decent stuff. phaleslu (10097) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 22, 2010
12 oz. bottle shared at The Royale, but I believe he got it at Wine and Cheese Place. Hell of a label; I’m liking the new artwork for Left Hand. Pours a clear copper color with a small bone white head. Aroma is almost reminiscent of a lighter mead, with honey, caramel malts, and ripe red apples. The flavor shows all of these, along with some nutmeg and Vienna and Munich malts. Medium-bodied, with a sticky mouthfeel and low carbonation. Sweet and smooth. This is a great take on the style, and way underrated. sebletitje (10048) - Enghien, BELGIUM - NOV 1, 2010
DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 22, 2012
12oz bottle, bottled 8/6/12. On the back, this says "malt liquor"... Thin khaki head, fades to minimal. Bubbles on the side of the glass. Totally clear copper color. Smooth carbonation, on the lighter side. More dry finish. Lightly sweet bitter taste. Spicy hops present, toasty malts. Kind of a fruity taste. Cherry? interesting way to do an oktoberfest
