COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is available each autumn in celebration of the great Bavarian festival season. Brewed in late spring and cellared throughout the summer, our Oktoberfest is produced through traditional methods as it has been for centuries in Germany, This copper-hued lager owes its rich malt flavor to a generous combination of select Vienna and Munich malts. Cool, open-fermentation develops a subtle elegance and drinkability suited to any festive occasion.

"A true to the style octoberfest that has a pleasant bready malt presence. A little light on the palate, but the aroma especially is quite nice. if there were just a little more follow through, this could be very good."

Thanks to Robert’s Reality for this. The pour was deep copper, with a 1 to 2-finger head. Caramel malt and some fruit was present in the aroma, with the flavor being caramel malt, some slight fruit, and some cabernet flavor in the finish.

BOTTLE: amber pour with a reddish hue, small white head. Bread on the nose, maybe some caramel. Taste is toast, butterscotch, medium mouthfeel. Not too bad.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear orange with a medium to large creamy off white head. Bread, grain, malt, earthy hops. Medium body, light spicy booze component, earthy malts with a bit of biscuit and caramel. Finishes with a touch of plumy sweetness, and some hoppy bitterness.

12oz bottle, bottled 8/6/12. On the back, this says "malt liquor"... Thin khaki head, fades to minimal. Bubbles on the side of the glass. Totally clear copper color. Smooth carbonation, on the lighter side. More dry finish. Lightly sweet bitter taste. Spicy hops present, toasty malts. Kind of a fruity taste. Cherry? interesting way to do an oktoberfest

355 ml bottle from Systembolaget, thanks to delft! BB 150709. On September 19, 2008. Clear copper color, tan head. Sweet caramelly scent, a bit sugary. Sweet, malty, fruity, sugary taste. Smooth mouthfeel, lot to medium bitterness. A bit perfumy

12 oz. bottle shared at The Royale, but I believe he got it at Wine and Cheese Place. Hell of a label; I’m liking the new artwork for Left Hand. Pours a clear copper color with a small bone white head. Aroma is almost reminiscent of a lighter mead, with honey, caramel malts, and ripe red apples. The flavor shows all of these, along with some nutmeg and Vienna and Munich malts. Medium-bodied, with a sticky mouthfeel and low carbonation. Sweet and smooth. This is a great take on the style, and way underrated.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. The aroma has toasted malts with mild sweetness and some ripe fruit character. The flavor has toasted malts, caramel notes with some moderately sweet ripe fruits. This comes off as being a bit watered down. Decent, but there are better Octoberfests available.
