Light malty nose. Taste is kinda watery with done caramel sweetness. Finish is short with a trace of something metallic. Not very good. Maybe a bad bottle ?

From notes, draft to pint at Cappy’s pour light copper amber with thin ecru head. Nose green apple, crystal malt, cracker, caramel. Taste fairly sweet, apple and fruit, then grainy malt. Fairly clean, no skunk.

Very smooth, no lingering after taste, very good overall, great appearance, I could tell by the appearance it would be full of flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bill Becker (1068) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - AUG 10, 2017
It pours a clear Amber with good head of foam. Smells malty as in toasted with bread. No real over sweet notes. Yum. Bready malt, toasted, light bitterness, this is a tasty OFest. I get caramel too but the sweetness level is kept in check. I am a hard ass when it comes to the style so my praise isn’t to be taken lightly. Medium body with mildish carbonation. From their sampler pack.

Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is caramel, earthy hop, robust, almost like a scotch ale, slight metallic, good. Appearance is darker amber, clear, light tan head. Taste is earthy hop, caramel, bitter malt, wheat, robust, autumn in a glass. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light carbonation, caramel malt and earthy hop aftertaste. Overall, solid example of the style.

Ronritter (786) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - DEC 16, 2016
12 oz bottle pours clear copper with very small head no lacing to speak of. Faint smell of pumpkin and malt, taste is better than I thought it would be crisp and slightly sweet bitter aftertaste but I like it.

From the bottle. Grassy aroma golden copper color wit a medium thick cream colored head. Malty flavor is quickly overcome by the hops. Hop bitterness lingers.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2016 Slightly alcoholic taste. Dark in color. Thick for a lager. Smooth to the palate, with a crisp finish.

chinchill (5075) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 5, 2016
12 oz bottle. The deep amber colored body has excellent clarity and a moderate size, semi-durable head. Minimal lacing. The aroma is hoppy for style but the flavor has a typical hop/malt balance. Overall: a solid, mainstream marzen.

Hiledd (125) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 2, 2016
Malt and pumpkin aroma, clear copper color. Thin to medium body for style, dissipates quickly, stronger start than finish. Pumpkin, toffee, and caramel flavor. Could use a bit more body and finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Whole Foods, Tenleytown. Reddish amber body with tiny white head. Nose is malty, toasty, caramel. Taste is caramel, malts and spices. Slightly sticky and spicy in the finish.
