2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: JAN 20, 2015 Didn’t quite get the balance of malt and hops right for me. Serving: Bottle
Pour is a light straw yellow. biscuity malt with well-balanced hops. Thin bodied and well carbonated. Not my favorite Pilsner but pretty good.

I really liked this, basically just what I had hoped. Good malt base but strong hop influence to keep it interesting. Dry and good. Bill Becker (1105) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - AUG 10, 2017
Best by January 7th 2018.
It pours a pale gold, minimal amount of foam and by the time I wrote this far, there’s just a ring around the glass.
Floral hop nose that’s kinda spicy, strong but pleasant aromas of bread.
Nice hop profile, noble like, spicy, solid bread malt backbone. Hints of grass
Good Pilsner. AdamChandler (5113) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 5, 2017
Yellow, light, no haze. small off-white head. oooh nice. Refreshing european hop profile and a grassy citrus note. orange peel, a little banana, wheat body, piney finish. jbethea (56) - Miami, Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2017
This was a truly disgusting experience. I dont get biscuits or honey or zest or any of the other BS I read on the other reviews on this upchuck lager. I get vomit, yeasty funky disgusting puke. I’ve never had anything from left hand I loved - especially not the milk stout everyone raves about. But this was truly horrible. I am not down with the traditional yeasty funk indicative of old German law and Belgian style beers. Pilsner huh?- Well I am, going to reach for a modelo to was h this puke out of my mouth and then go back into my variety pack. ...yuck

Clear gold with a meringue head and a somewhat lemony, bready nose. Crisp and well-carbonated with a somewhat dry, sweet, lightly bitter finish. Thechasm442 (1005) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 27, 2017
Bottle. Pour is a mostly clear straw with a thicker white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is spicy floral hops. Grains, earth, and bread. Taste is grains, spicy, earthy hops, bread, and a tangy, slightly skunky finish. Crisp and quenching. ronaldtheriot (1965) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - APR 18, 2017
Polestar has a thin, white head, a mostly clear, bubbly, straw appearance, with lots of tiny powdery sediment, and minimal glass lacing. Aroma is of sweet white bread (pale malt) and lemon. Taste is of those elements, with noticeable, yet mild, hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Polestar finishes crisp and refreshing. DATE: April 2, 2017... OCCASION: a nice weekend ends with possibly a nice spring beer... GLASSWARE: Penn State pilsner... pours a crinkling, crispy crackle of effervescence, with large bubbles clinging to the glass’s edge and rocketing up to form a diminishing, erratic display of lacing... sallow, clear body... begins with a sharp tick of Saaz and noble hops before entertaining lemon zest and malty cracker.... otherwise, light and suggesting of easy drinking... which it is, with a soft, smooth mouthfeel that only pauses at the teeth before tingling with a swift flourish at the throat... moderate aftertaste.... the flavor profile is lemony, with grass, cracker, spring flowers, a bit of earthiness, and sweet malts... a pilsner that is fine in a mix pack, but not one I would seek out by itself... slightly more affecting than a rinser, but not a German approximation... Draft at Bru Craft. Clear golden yellow pour with a modest white head. Big carbonation. Strong toasty aroma with some plastic gloss. Tastes of cracker malts. Shortbread. Bruised lemons. Cardamom. Kumquat. Cereal grains. Not my style but would do in a pinch.
