Nitro at Terrible Beauty. Clear orange pour with a persistant off-white head leaving a heavy set of rings. Nose is very muted - a bit of citrus hops and some caramel malt. Medium-light body, lightly carbonated, English-style ESB. Very well balanced and smooth, with caramel malts that lend a very subtle sweetness and solid but subtle hops that don’t punch you in the bracket.
Bottle. Red chestnut, low head. Light sugary roast, caramel and berries, aromatic pine and flowery hops. Medium body, dry, mellow sparky, caramel apples, sweet but well balanced by a nice, not overdone hop blanket. Pleasant. donandres (687) - Makati, PHILIPPINES - OCT 18, 2017

Smell: very good, malty aroma
Taste: very good, low bitterness, low sweetness
Feel: very good, good carbonation, good finish, long bitter aftertaste
Overall: very good beer ok to repeat, not look for

Pours a clear copper with a 1" head of foam.
Smells of citrus hops and grainy malt, with some caramel.
Grainy taste, nice bit of bitter hops that’s kinda fruity. Finish doesn’t appeal to me. Sorta bitter but then it fades and gets all watery.

Sawtooth Ale: It tastes like a cube of aged white cheddar that has been lightly cooked upon the meat grease residue of a lukewarm Foreman grill.

Pours a clear amber with a medium, off white head. The mellow aroma is very bready. There are some lighter floral hops, and is mildly toasted. I find hints of caramel as well. The taste is more dry than anything. Its also just a bit sweet. The flavor remains very bready. A heavier caramel comes through now with with a strong nutty compliment. Long and lingering caramel aftertaste. Due to this being only 5.3%, I was surprised that this was full in body. It has a chewy texture and average carbonation. The mysterious ESB style. Haven’t had many, never liked any. I bought this thinking it was a nitro, which may have improved things somewhat... but it isn’t. Aroma of lemon and malt, bottle into nonic, no foam, low carbonation, kind of flat, dull orange look to it. Flavor is not exciting at all, bland, flat, weak... I do get the hard water thing. Have to say, based on limited experience, that I just don’t care for this style of beer. Of course, if I was once again cycle touring in England and this was what was on at the local, I’d have no trouble hoisting a few. Inoffensive, but far from exceptional.
