Poured into a snifter.
3.5 A: Clear light orange color. Two fingers of frothy white head. Retention is a hair below average, but a small ring of lacing is left.
3.0 S: Hoppiness is grassy with citrus undertones. Light neutral malty sweetness. Perhaps a touch of biscuit. Clean overall.
3.0 T: Just a touch of grassy and citrusy hops. Mild graininess and a touch of straw-like sweetness. Faint caramel flavor. Simple and not very intense, but good enough.
2.5 M: This I don’t really care for. Body is on the heavier end of light. Good moderate carbonation. Lacking any creaminess. Otherwise, smooth.
2.5 D: Not a bad beer, but definitely on the lower end of average. Worth a try just so you know.

Amber body, small white head.
Light and a bit boring aroma, malty, some fruity hops but not by far as much as expected.
Taste is a tad better, balanced between malt and hops, but still a bit tame.
Kind of a sweet finish ends the beer as boring as it starts. tdcritch (153) - Missouri, USA - JAN 18, 2012
Usually like IPA better, but this had a nice sweet aroma. Appearance was clear golden. Taste sweet at first then finished with a slight bitter on the palate. Overall a great easy drinking pale ale. Sigmund (7659) - Tau, NORWAY - JAN 18, 2012
Small sample, on tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Deep golden colour, large head. Lovely hoppy and spicy aroma and flavour - an excellent beer, as far as I could tell. Will rerate as soon as I get a bigger sample (had to drive tonight). brian60625 (746) - Illinois, USA - JAN 17, 2012
Bottle. I think the faceless silhouette on the bottle was appropriate for this beer. It had a small amount of spice flavor and a slight bitterness. Mostly, it was bland.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber gold with a medium sized white head. Soft spicy hops on the nose, a touch of earthy breadiness. Sweeter than expected, but still nice. Thick sweet malt and grain backbone, nice body to it. Medium bodied, gets a touch grainy. Nice earthy hop notes. Gets a nice bitterness on the finish. Easy drinking, fairly sessionable. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 8, 2012

, rated 2011-09-04) Hazy golden with a small, lacy and lasting head. Orange, peach, citrus, pale malt in the nose. Oranges and peachy-fruity smoothness in the flavor, but unfortunately the finish has a bit rough and acidic bitterness. Quite light body with low CO2. Drinkable, but somewhat lame, low-ABV, fruity APA.
Bottle. Floral hop aroma is moderate. Yellow, clear, light head. Medium carbonation. Rye and bitterness in the taste. A pale with plenty of flavor and character. Lubiere (13994) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 5, 2012
A golden ale with a thick lacing white head. In aroma, nice light floral hops with light citrusy notes, very classic. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with light floral hops, and mineral notes, not bad. Sampled at Bierkraft, Dec. 27 2011. ddemmingjr (800) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - JAN 1, 2012
