COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sane or senseless? Harmless or harmful? Sometimes it takes awhile to get to know a stranger. Initial impressions are not always reality, so you must delve deeper. Beyond the initial floral hop aromas, malt sweetness is revealed, yet with a spicy undertone that exposes a very rye sense of humor. Take your time to get to know the Stranger. It’s strangely satisfying.

Bottle. Light amber color with a very small white head. Citrus aroma. Sweet citrus, clove and caramel malt flavors. Watery texture with average carbonation. Enough flavor to make it interesting but thin enough to be refreshing.

Drank in a shaker. Poured a light copper with a small head. The aroma was very subdued. Good balanced taste but the end was a little off somehow.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a short lived head. Hoppy aroma. Flavor is somewhat watery with a faint hop bite. finish is bland. Overall an underachieving APA that leaves little to be desired. Cool label.

This had a clear straw/gold body with a modest, but lasting, head and left plenty of lace. The aroma was grainy with some citrus notes. The flavor was citrusy, mildly bitter, and balanced well with the pale malt sweetness. Easy drinking and quite sessionable.

Pour from a 12 oz blttle. Clear amber brew with white head. Aroma of sour hops, light malts, mineral water. Taste is light grains at the start with a nice hoppy finish, rather unique sour / spiciness to it.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at MDL in Overland Park, Kansas. Pour is a lightly hazed golden orange with a minimal white head. The aroma is caramel malt and citrus orange and grapefruit hop bitterness. The nose gets a bit dirty earthy as it warms. Taste is a nice bright citrus up front, blended nicely with the lightly sweet malt. Nice bread toast character comes out as it warms. Palate is light to medium bodied, nice unfiltered mouth feel, mineral dry and crisp finish. Bright, refreshing beer.

bottled 3/12/11. consumed 4/5/11.

clear. very orange shade of yellow with a small ow head.

smells kinda british spicy?...a little dank, sweaty yeast, light pine, floral, metal and woody notes in there as well.

the flavor is very metallic.... it doesn’t blow off like usual even after it sits for a while. also, noted are pale malt without the sweetness, wood and flowers. theres a light saltiness in the aftertaste.

sharply carbonated and crisp. not bad, just a little boring... although highly crushable. 6/3/6/3/13
