UPDATED: AUG 31, 2011 This poured a copper color with a white head. The aroma is caramel and citrus with some rye notes. The flavor is bitter with some citrus and nutty notes. Overall I enjoyed this one. gunnar (9094) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 21, 2012
On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy gold/amber with a small creamy white head. Very interesting sweet fruity and flowery hop aroma with some green apples as well. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter fruity hops, reminds me of the good british ipa, nothing over the top, just good all over.

Mild floral citrus aroma. A mild hazy yellow with a touch of amber.Citrus and bitter taste that finishes off clean and dry. Has a pepper rye feeling in the middle. Hint of malt sweetness. A little different than is typical for this style. 6ROW (472) - corpus christi, Texas, USA - JUL 7, 2012

12oz bottle poured into a Shaker at 41°. Color is bright gold with light carbonation and a very thin head. Aroma is a nice fruity hop scent. It has a medium body with a smooth mouth feel. Flavor of mild roasted malt and caramel, then some floral hops show with a mild bitterness. In the after taste the bitterness hangs on with a fruity hop taste coming out. Overall its a very good American Pale Ale.

Bottled. Old note. The aroma has citrus, some biscuit. Bit hazy, golden coloured beer with a thin, white head. The taste is soft bitter, citric, light piney and has biscuity malts. Good. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 31, 2011
Near clear golden amber pour with fading khaki head. Nose is floral and slightly spicy. The flavor is more spicy hops with citrus finish. Rye on the tail end? Pretty good pale ale actually. Sharp spicy lingering bite. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Bottle at Kuma’s. Happened to see this in the cooler and had to give it a go. Pours a standard orangey-copper with a white head. Nose is C-hops and some light faint caramel. Crisp. On taste, it’s nothing special, but it is really clean. Lightly fruity with juicy hop notes. Firm malt backbone. Imminently drinkable and worth drinking. Solid APA. keepersj12 (3117) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Another beer I’m way off on with my Ratebeerians. I liked the look of this one with an amber pour with a lacing white head. the aroma had bread, yeast, malt, a bit of caramel. The flavor was sweet to start but quickly turned bitter as the hops took hold. Clean and dry for the finish. Better than my comrades would suggest. 355ml bottle @ BrewDog. Orange amber colour, not much head. Rustic resin hop aroma & flavour. Dry citrus hop aftertaste. Decent pale ale.
