3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
DATE: June 2, 2017... OCCASION: a quiet night after a long short week (back from NOLA), and in need of something soft and pillowy... GLASSWARE: Ayinger willibecker.... pours a crisp, crackling golden body that cascades upward to craft a white webbing of head that holds serious clout... two fingers descends in time, but leaves a resilient reminder that the beer is fresh and ready... lemon grass and yeast strains mingle with banana and light biscuit to suggest a pilsner, thought the hops are not assertive at all in that way.. first sip rolls straight to the throat, refreshing with a bit of lingering texture...light bodied, suitable for slamming, but fizzy and creamy enough to be acknowledged...the flavor is lemon grass, hay, a bitterness that holds sway and the maltiness of something stronger... oats, cereal, or some other grain makes for the weightier flavor... at 4.8%, a nonthreatening drink to mow down before or after yard work... could be a bit crisper or cleaner, but the style begs for a bit of simplicity...
Mild, malty lager, exactly what I was looking for in this beer. Not quite as sweet as I expected, more biscuity and grassy. Quite nice. malvrich (372) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - FEB 17, 2018
Can 1 month out of date > pilsner glass
A: Poured 1/2" of thick yellowish white foam that held well atop finely hazed pale gold with very busy bubbles rising and sheet lacing.
S: Light sweet scent of grains, bread and honey. No grape, apple or must.
T: Fruity tart apple flavor comes out of the fizz with a hint of wine and bread. Not as sweet as the smell.
M: Body is light and well carbonated. Feel is crisp, clean and dry.
O: Hits all bases nicely for me despite its age. Easy recommendation. Bullit (4845) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 9, 2018

Slightly hazy pale gold with a thick white head. Nose is lightly malty and floral hops. Aroma is bready and a little toast, and floral/grassy hops, hint of pepper. Sweet, sour, and bitter are all medium light - nice balance. Clean & crisp, very nice. unclemike (3208) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - JAN 28, 2018
lear golden appearance with a white head. Aroma of bread, toasted grain and light hops. Similar flavor, adding mild malt sweetness and a light hop bitterness. Light and crisp, a decent Kölsch overall

CAUTION!!! Explosive out of can! Will ruin whatever is around you!
Aroma - doughy malt
Appearance - the body is a hazy lemon yellow. The head is 2"+ and settles slowly. Decent lacing throughout. Opening is volatile!
Taste - has a light malt sort of doughy. There is a light hop.
Palate - the body is on the lighter side, the texture is slightly smooth, the carbonation is soft, the finish is soft and mild. Cybercat (6444) - Georgia, USA - DEC 25, 2017
Pours clear topaz with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma features a strong note of sweet apple and some fresh malt. Flavor delivers fresh malt, grassy, tart, apple and subtle woody hop notes. Mouthfeel presents average fizz and body. Travel light - but never thirsty.
