3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy golden orange on tap with nice white head and decent lacing. Aroma is citrus hops and a nice malty backbone. Taste is spicy, but I think it’s a little of the good juju still in the lines. Not site if I got a proper taste is this, but I’ll rate it add I see it, thanks to world of beer.
Aroma: Medium citrus, orange peel, orange sweets. Medium-light resin. Lightly oxidized.
Appearance: Clear body with small floaters. Small, off-white head.
Flavour: Medium-high bitterness. Medium resin, pine, bready, toasty. Light alcohol.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light warming. Medium body, carbonation.
Overall: Very good for a beer tat is 2 years old! Minor flaws due to age. Wish I could have tasted a fresh one!
660 ml bottle, poured. Big Beer Tasting I
22A. Double IPA dimeon (363) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 29, 2017
A: Dark Amber with a medium off-white head
N: Caramel, faint Orange
T: The caramel malty note is there from the start. Green bitter notes. Orange juice. Dark malts emerge with time.
O: The bottle was over its date, which to me meant that the malt dominated the hops slightly. Still a good beer, though. AntonyWilson (422) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 20, 2017
660ml bottle: Pours a clear golden with thin off white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel and a slight sherry note. Slightly sweet, bitterness is persistent but well balanced by the malt. Medium carbonation, medium bodied. Overall a great beer. Davros IX (414) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2017
2016 catch up - Bottle at home - Hops, malt and very smooth. Tasty with a great mouth feel and really didn’t notice the alcohol. There was a lot of malt and it didn’t really work for me. My DIPAs need more hops.

Bottle from Beers of Europe (clearance section). Pours clear gold with a persistent thin white head. Aromas of resin, caramel, green plant stalks. Taste is bitter, light maltiness. Drinks well for the strength. AUdacious1 (7) - Smyrna, Georgia, USA - JAN 22, 2016 does not count
Not as strong as some double IPAs, but truly is delicious. Generally speaking, I'm a huge fan of Left Hand beers. This is another good one!

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a medium sized creamy-soapy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with notes of toffee, honey and pine. The flavor was sweet and tangy with a honey note then turned bitter with sour caramel, pine and a bit of earthy hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.
