UPDATED: OCT 7, 2007 Amusing, over-the-top bottle graphics. Looks like a tattoo artist’s flash or something. Very dark red-brown, but not black or quite opaque. Initial aroma is pure chocolatey goodness. Strong. Somewhat thin, but resilient head. Very rich flavor, very full body. Chocolate and coffee, estery, with a hint of bitterness and a small dash of alcohol. Exceedingly long finish. In other words, a very proper Imperial Stout. Absolutely delicious. I regret only having one bottle of this... Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAY 13, 2001
Lefthand Imperial Stout:
Very dark mahogany; creamy, light-brown head. Very rich; strong alcohol sensation. Complex, sweet, hoppy, intense, with a fruity aroma. Improves with every sip.
