On tap. Poured a medium pinkish red color with a very small sized pinkish head. Aromas of raspberry syrup, and lightly bready. Tastes of lighter raspberry syrup and sugary sweet. Way too artificial and sweet. DocLock (10836) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 22, 2007
Draft at Capone’s. Pinkish straw pour with a big raspberry aroma, some grainy bready malt, and flavors of raspberry syrup, some pale malt, slight hops, and some finishing Jolly ranchery notes. Not bad, but not one I’d probably buy by the case. egajdzis (6673) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2007
[Draft @ Capone’s] Poured a clear deep red amber color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberries, toffee, and light toast. Taste was sweet, raspberries, with grains, yeast, maybe some tart pomegranate, and a mildly alcoholic finish. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2009
This poured a ruby red color with a pinkish head. Aroma was of sweet raspberry candy. Flavor was much the same, very sweet, and hides the alcohol incredably well. Not an everyday beer, but something really good for the right occasion. cheap (5965) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2007
Pour is reddish pink and clear. On tap at the Bocktown in Robinson shopping complex. Bubbly pinkish head somewhat like champagne. Aroma is fruity and sweet. The head fades to just a froth after awhile. These fruit beers keep attracting me but I am usually disappointedly in their flavor. Apon first taste this one is laking any apparent sweetness. The smell is lying to me. This is somewhat like the flavor of most beers with some unsweetened fruit concentrate added. I don’t think this is as bad as abita purple haze but it does have memory cells firing off due to it. I certainly was hoping for something sweeter. These odd tasting fruit beers are everywhere. Not even getting close to the pleasure of Lancaster strawberry wheat. Finish is not real offensive and it does not linger for long.

Tap at Gen Lafayette strong ale fest 2007. Pours a bright clear violet pink with a fluffy nean violet head. Aroma is artificial raspberry extract or canned raspberries, sugary sweet hints and some phenols. Sweet flavor with lots of raspberry candy character, light alcohol as it warms along with more phenols, and a sweet lingering finish. A bit too girly and artificial. meh. On tap at Blue Dog Pub in Lansdale. Pours a lightly hazy pinkish red with a small creamy white head. Aroma of berries, some wheat and tartness. Flavor of sweet berries, light tartness, cereal, bready, candy sweetness, ligthly sour and some wheat. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2007
Draught at Harrisburg festival. Fruity tart aroma, bitter mild hops, and what smells more like pomegranate than the raspberries that are in here. Pink red clear with thin pink head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts tart with muted fruit acidity and taste of, again, pomegranate. Light grain notes and funky finish. Mild bitter astringency in finish and after. On draft at capones. Red pour with big time fruit aroma (That scares me away most of the time) Kind of tasted like rasberry but surprisingly it wasn’t as boldly fruity as I thought it was going to be. There was an alcohol finish hidden there but overall not a horrible brew. illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 16, 2007
Draft at Capones. Pours amber red with a small white head. Aroma of raspberries and caramel. Flavor is rather simple, toffee malt with some raspberry flavor (powdery). Medium bodied with a slight bubbly texture. Average amount of sweetness with alcohol very well hidden. Not very complex, but simple- in a good way of course.
