Bottle from Grocery Outlet. Pours a copper color with a decent off-white head. Aromas of pepper, floral hop and caramel. Tickles my nose. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is berry?, wood, caramel, leather, pepper? It’s a bit bready, but has some fruit. Finishes mildly bitter. Surprising. Good. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 19, 2009

This reddish amber beer poured with a huge beige head and a smoky aroma. It’s got a decent caramel malt base and some nice hop bitteness, but it’s too watery. A pretty good amber ale. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 9, 2008

12oz bottle. I’m assuming that the Fat Dog Lager was either an earlier version or a misreading of the name. This one is definitely FAT BOY Lager. Filtered orange-tan appearance. Sweet, doughy English malt aroma. Taste is slighty reminiscent of a British Bitter. Very well balanced beer, with the Amber malt playing very well into the whole flavor profile. Mildly hopped, with a nice crisp hoppy mouthfeel upfront. Pretty much a session beer all the way. ganache (5958) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 27, 2009
Bottle. Light grass and citrus aroma, some good pale malts and middling floral tones. Dark amber pour with a creamy, pillowy beige head. Taste is dry and lightly bitter with some sticky caramel and syrupy hop residue, light floral notes and otherwise noble hops. Lightish-medium body. Grainy, very young beer, or could just be a mess. I suppose this will rank pretty high to style (we currently have it as a Premium Lager), but there’s certainly no compelling reason to come near this. Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off whtie head. Pepper spice, and some dry floral fruit and damp wood. Light body with a subtle fruit and toasted malt. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - SEP 26, 2008
On tap at Ortinos Northside. Pours a translucent amber with golden notes and a medium creamy off white head. Aroma of caramel, diacytel, slight oxidation, light citrus, grains and malt sweetness. Flavor was a bit better featuring some caramel, noble hops, bready and lightly sweet. jeremytoni (3079) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JUL 6, 2009
From a bottle poured a light amber color with a good amount of head. Light watery hoppy malty flavor with a quick finish.
