Midnight Wit is a Belgian-style white ale with a medium body and spicy, citrus overtones. The texture is silky, creamy, and refreshingly delightful. Brewed with European Pilsner malt, unmalted wheat, a blend of 5 different spices and then fermented with a classic Belgian yeast strain. Our Brewmaster learned the art of brewing tantalizing and award-winning white beers during his time in Belgium and this beer shows it.

Smells just like orange marmalade- this one’s overwhelming. Color is hazy yellow. Taste has some lemon, but dominated by orange marmalade. Not much need to drink more of this unless you pour it on toast.

A- cloudy yellow as most wits are expected to have. It just seems like its not as hazy as it should be. Has a thin white creamy head. S- sweet citrus complimented by wheat and yeast. T-Citrus is up front with wheat and yeast taking a back seat to the citrus. Floral tastes can also be detected. P-nice light smooth body with light to medium carbonation. O- very drinkable. good taste, good character, and lower ABV. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 04-05-2007 15:40:04

How can a beer be both cloudy and sunny at the same time? Well this one is, with a bright sun-yellow color, but a cloudy appearance. Hazy. Has a thin layer of non-stick head. No lace. Nice wheaty/wit smell. Sweet smelling, with the orange/citrus coming through. Very fresh fruity smell. Subdued. Spicy, but not sour or pungent. Heavy orange fruit flavor. It’s a sweet, spicy witbier. Pretty standard wit. Nice aftertaste. Light like some kind of Tropicana Twister or some such drink. A little dry at the end. Nice and pleasant. Not much depth, but quite thirst quenching. A nice, "wet" and summery brew.

ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 23, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with about a one finger head of fluffy white foam. The aroma is yeasty and doughy with spice and citrus. Tastes of coriander, lightly toasted grains, wheat, sweet spiciness, and a hint of citrus.
