From the tap came a light amber brew with white head. Aromas of stink foot, malt, and hops. Full bodied with flavors of malt and more hops on the tounge than in the nose. BrettTaylor (776) - Radford, Virginia, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Poured as a 2 oz sampler at Virginia Beer Live 2013. May have been suffering from palate blowout. Pine and orange notes in the aroma. More complex than I first expected, but definitely balanced towards hop/bitterness. Aromas were very reminiscent, but more pleasant in my mind, than Heady Topper. Draft at Savory Grain This was an excellent pale ale with a complex aroma and flavor. There is a resin like taste of pine and citrus. The ale poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head with some lacing. The ale has medium body with soft carbonation. The ale finishes with a bitter finish of moderate to long duration. This was fun, I hope to have more. shigadeyo (3739) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 1, 2013

7/08/2010: Legend Hopfest... Aroma: Orange and grapefruit citrus candy. Appearance: Vibrant orange color; off-white ring of foam. Flavor: Definitely a hop party with a moderate level of bitterness; tinny toffee maltiness. Palate: Medium body; average mouthfeel. Overall: Really easy to drink since it doesn’t come across as overly alcoholic.

polandap. Light copper with dissipating head. Smells like heavy wet earthy botanical stuff. Like a really amped up pilsner. Tastes lightly sweet and very dry and bitter. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a smallish white head. Nose is quite floral and hoppy with some slight pine notes. Taste is slightly bitter, but balanced quite well. Easy drink. zickbeer_ye (441) - Virginia, USA - APR 22, 2013
Dlapped in the face with fresh hop scents and nice tart citrus. Amber with slight golden toucg in the body. Hoppy and crisp fruit flavors nice dry soury finish. Great on the palate. Emeister84 (2505) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - APR 21, 2013
Aromas of citrus and pine. Clear orange with a lasting, off-white head. Dry and bitter, with toasty malts and subtle smoke, like oven-toasted bread, very balanced. Medium bodied with good carbonation, and finishes with a load of hops. arone12 (929) - Maryland, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Pours a golden color with a slight amber color. Nice off white head. Smell some hops with a bit of malt backbone. Really good flavor. Medium amount of hop flavors with some grass and pine. Nicely balanced.
