German-style beer with clean, crisp taste, a light bitterness and a pleasant hop aroma, medium body and pale color, offering far more character and flavor than typical American lager-style products.

Bottle. Poured a medium golden yellow with an average sized (1-2 finger) white fizzy head that dissipated rapidly leaving a thin layer of foam lying on top, but did not have any good lacing to speak of. The aroma was very mild of a grain malt, herbal hops and an earthy yeast with just a hint of caramel. The taste was mildly sweet with a hint of caramel at first and then became very lightly hoppy towards the end. The flavor lasted only a short while after the swallow with not much of an aftertaste. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a fizzy carbonation. Overall a light tasting beer with a mild hop finish. Great if you want to have more than a few and do not want to feel blotted.

Backlog, bottle with Pat, James, and Devon. Hazy yellow golden with average sized top and lacing. Notes of grain, corn, malt, hay sweet vanilla and lager stuff. Not into this one at all.

Very enjoyable lager. Drinks easily, light to medium body. Crisp malt body, light touch of saaz hops. Very nice.

Drank from a pint glass, poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Thank you Bjorn. A bit more creaminess than I am use to in a lager, but a welcomed flavor.

(Bottle) Hazy orange body with a small orange-white head. Sweet malt aroma. Light body, lively carbonation. Bread, some orange; mildly sweet and clean.

Bottle from Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors. Bold orange body with medium, white head. Nose is hoppy, floral and fruits. Taste is similar of hops, malts and citrus. Some wheat. A bit prickly in the texture. Dry, sweet finish. Decent beer.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, wheat, grain. Tastes of citrus, stone fruit, slight sweet malt. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Solid lager.

Transfer from BA review on 9-4-12- Poured from bomber into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a medium golden color with a gigantic white head. The head was huge but faded fast, so the pour had to take place in multiple step additions. After fading completly the head left only a very light spotty lacing. Smell – The smell is light and is of a bready an lighter sweet fruit/veg aromas of a apple and corn. Taste – The taste begins of bread and caramel malt sweetness. Soon flavors of a lighter citrus nature come to the tongue. Mixed with the citrus are some flavors of an earthy taste. These flavors diminish the caramel flavor as the taste advances but a sweet corn and malty flavor takes it place. .In the end, a pleasant sweeter (for a lager) and very lightly bittered taste is left on the tongue. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the lower and thinner side with a very high level of carbonation. The carbonation and body are both very good for the brew and make it quite refreshing and easy drinking. Overall – Not too bad. A bit on the sweeter side for a lager, but refreshing and very easy drinking none the less. It has nice flavor transitions and a nice feel, which when coupled with the lighter and more refreshing body make for a good session beer.

355 ml bottle in Vienna, VA. Pours a light amber color with a thin white head. Hoppy pine and malt aroma followed by a nutty flavor. Palate is a crisp hoppy finish. A bit too spicy for style.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a clear gold with a huge white head. Odd nose with notes of grain and a hint of furniture polish. There have to be some noble hops in there. There is a weird grassiness, lemon, and grain notes. Light body with plenty of carbonation. Eh, not too bad.

Poured from bottle to plastic cup at a local minor league game. Poured a slightly hazy yellow with small head, no lacing. Aroma was a bit bready, but fairly minimal. Taste was crisp, but lacked much in flavor. I don’t know that I would ever drink this again.
