Bottle shared at the Foothills Sexual Chocolate pre-release party. Aroma has plum notes with a butterscotch backbone. Flavor has plenty of butterscotch sweetness while actually being a bit dry. Some cherry skins add a nice touch. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JUL 6, 2013
September 2011. Bottle. Dark amber color with a white head. Fruity aromas with Belgian Yeast, malt and spice. Good complexity and finish. Great example of the style. obguthr (6829) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Rich and pronounced molasses nose, horehound accents. Clear chestnut colored, thin yellow head. Medium body, smooth, very sweet. Syrupy sweet horehound and maraschino cherry flavor. A little cloying, but it almost works. Alcohol is downplayed considerably. I can hardly believe it is 11%.Pretty neat. Radek Kliber (7501) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUL 13, 2012

Palate / Taste: Sweet candy sugars. Medium plus bodied. Medium lighter carbonation. Slight dryness of alcohol at finish. Mild fruity touches. Very drinkable rendering.
Bottle via trade. Thanks Robert! Pours a hazy mahogany color with a nice eggshell head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, candied sugar, raisin, cherry. Taste is sweet with some light bitterness. Medium bodied and sticky. Pretty nice for an American quad. Sammy (12995) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 25, 2012

Pours a clear deep amber/ruby color with a medium tan head. Aroma is fruity with notable yeastiness...just a bit aggressive. Flavor has lots of fruit...fig, raisin, a hint of apple...some sugary sweetness and some underlying leathery notes...boozy. mouthfeel is medium/heavy with a malty, warming finish. 22oz bottle: Pours a clear deep amber with a stringy-lacing off-white head. Has a sweet toasty dark caramel malty nose with some dark fruity esters and a touch of brown sugar. Starts with good fullness and rich sweet caramel and biscuity malty complexity with some bready yeasty notes and mild clove spice with the slightest hint of light fruity tartness before a slightly thinner and warming finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable given the abv. Elwood (3347) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JAN 6, 2012
Serving:draft at Fireworks. Pours a deep cloudy gold. The nose is light with a bit plastic and malt. The flavor is weak with some honey, yeast and a slight sweetness. This one isn’t very impressive.
