COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Wit was brewed on an authentic Belgian yeast strain (the same one used for our Tripel). Plenty of spicy yeast flavor blends nicely with actual spices added during the boil. We dosed this brew with a healthy amount of crushed coriander as well as dried orange peel for a distinct, refreshing aroma and flavor. One third of the malt bill is made up of wheat, which gives this beer a crisp, slightly tart flavor.

Think of this beer as the “Gatorade” for your hot weather drinking pleasure, not too heavy, but still possessing plenty of flavor.

Legend White Ale was brewed with 2-row malted barley, Pilsner malt, ground wheat, and flaked wheat. The hopping is minimal, consisting of German Hallertau and Czech Saaz. Bitterness comes from a combination of the hops and spices, aroma from the yeast and spices.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Slightly hazy orange with small white head. Aroma is yeasty/floral hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and thick big-bubble lacing. Taste is orange peel, esters, spice, caramel, and a little coriander.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 12, 2017
Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body with a minimal white head. The nose is heavy on the coriander and orange peel with some light wheat and yeastiness. The flavor is a little overbearing on the spice for me, the orange peel especially. Light yeastiness and a little caramel sweetness. Medium bodied and a little clingy with soft fizzy carbonation. Ok, not great.

Bottled as Winter White. $2.29 bottle from Total Wine - West Richmond. Pours golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of coriander, grasses, bubblegum. Flavor is quite sweet up front: fruity and juicy with spices including clove. Coriander, orange peel, perhaps cinnamon. Tasty!

ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAR 28, 2015
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- I catch hints of coriander, wheat and malt a sweet smell. Appearance- A dark amber color with a small white head Taste- The beer has a sweet flavor but it has an odd aftertaste that i found rather off putting. Palate- A medium bodied beer with light carbonation. the aftertaste hurts this beer in my opinion. Overall- i found this to be an average to slightly below average brew.
