4 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub. The aroma has a nice orangey citrus and piney character. Light cattiness, too. Seems like Simcoe/Cascade hops. Nice aroma. Mostly transparent golden body with a small-medium creamy white head and good lacing left behind. Starts with some catty, lightly dank hop flavors. Has a nice velvety body of malts, which stay in the background. Finishes with a moderately bitter citrus and piney hoppiness. Pretty good.

A golden IPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, a sweet butterscotch malt with light floral hops, with a bit if buttery notes and sulphur. In mouth, a sweet biscuit malt with light roasted notes, herbal hops, a bit of an oily mouthfeel, light butterscotch. On tap at brewpub , March 18 2012.

(Rating #4000)
