Just sõbralik hiiglane on andnud inspiratsiooni "Lõbusale Njuufale".

"Jolly Newfie"
If dogs are not against the grain, then at some point you surely have admired a Newfoundland (‘Newfs’ or ‘Newfies’). This dog is an eye catcher and with a reason – majestic, massive, and strong dog who shines with dignity and kindness.
This gentle giant has given the inspiration to “Jolly Newfie”. This beer is also large, black, and friendly. Pilsner malt, Vienna and Munich malt give the beer its powerful body, roasted malt gives the dark black color, Cascade and Citra Brand hops give the friendly taste of hops.
Unlike the dog breed legendary for its bravery, Newfie beer is unable to save your life. However, it can warm up a night out with friends.

330 ml bottle from Tallinna Kaubamaja Toidumaailm. Pours very brown, almost black. Beer seems to be very liquid, no viscosity. Has initially a nice foam head, beige - but that disappears rapidly, leaving some nice lacing on a glass. Aroma is not very strong but has some hops, some subdued roastiness. Taste has dark malts, roast and also floral hop flavours. Some sort of sour note lingering with some dry roast. Overall interesting beer, body a bit shallow for 6,5% beer - but it must be said that alcohol doesn’t show at all and it feels much lighter. Could drink it again.

Bottle. Very deep ruby brown, almost black, with a nice tan head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, dried fruit, hints of floral and grassy notes. Not too sweet, very nice body, easy drinking. It’s a great stout or porter, but not an IPA by any standard. Still great.

[ As Lehe Lõbus Njuufa ].
Clear dark brown color with a small large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, sweet malt, roasted, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160706]

Pours black from the bottle. The finger thick tan head is frothy, turns creamy. Aroma is floral, some pine and citrus. Taste is bitter with strong roasted notes and a fruitiness that strengthens going into the finish. The finish stays short, with a touch dough. Body is medium, with a nicely balanced carbonation. Not bad.

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Roasted malt, pine and a hint of fudge in the aroma. Roasted taste with pine, toffee, fudge and some slightly sharp notes. Not sure how old this is but the hops are not as prominent as in most beers of this type. Still, noticeable though.

ciocanelu (2455) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - NOV 8, 2016
Really dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has lots of chocolate, dark malts, brownies but also lots of hops with resiny notes. Taste starts with herbal hops, pine resin and continues with coffee, chocolate, dark malts and finishes with a light bitterness. Medium to full bodied, quite creamy with soft carbonation. Really tasty and easy to drink black IPA.

Lore (2661) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 6, 2016
