Bottle (received from a great trader!): Pale golden to golden, a bit unclear, white stable lacy head; light to moderate grainy and herbal-hoppy nose; light sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; hoppy and malty finish with a light sourish-cardboardy touch. Not really good....... MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAY 18, 2009
(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly dusty and sweet strawy nose with light hoppy notes. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy malty and slightly chalky taste with notes of plastic, especially towards the moderately bitter finish (13.V.09). bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear golden colour, large and creamy head. Malty nose. Very good balance between hops and malt. Hints of honey, grassy hops with beautiful malts. Well-matured with a pleasant carbonation. ganache (5896) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 29, 2005
Had a bottle of this in Geislingen b. Balingen, in Baden-Württemberg. Golden color. Easy and malty, sweeter than the other Lehner I had that day.
