COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Leidsch Blond is a fresh fruity topfermented beer. Brewed with the best ingredients: barley, caramalts, wheat, munich, Hallertau and Saaz-hop. The label shows a painting by Jan Steen who lived in Leiden (1626-1679) and who’s of course a world famous painter. Less known are his activities as a brewer like his father was.

This a decent blond beer with a cloudy appearance and a lightly sour start,

This beer has a amber body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is bitter with a light sweet afther tast.

A sweet, average blonde. Hazy golden orange appearance with a medium head and body. Hints of banana, orange and some spicing. Tried at the Nederlandse Bierweek openingsfestival with Paul, Dave, and Erol.

Long lasting head, wonderful appearance, but a little bit more expected from the flavor. Nice spicy taste though. Excellent beer.

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 1, 2011
Draught @ KBC ’11: Small white head on top of a clear dark yellow colored beer. Smell wheat, spices, wheat and hops. Taste wheat, spices, yellow fruits, malts, grains, sweets and herbs. Soft mouthfeel, medium to low carbo, low to medium body and a light creamy texture.

Gedronken op het KBC in Den Bosch 2011, goud/gele kleur met een witte schuimkraag, een beetje waterig maar het smaakt verder wel lekker

sic1314 (4967) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2013
Poured a light amber white a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt and sweet citrus hop. Medium body, sweet orange flavour over a soft malt, quite high carbonation. Sweet, lingering hop aftertaste.

On tap at Stadsbrouwhuis, Leiden - Clear golden body, thick appealing white head. Nose is rather grassy, with citrus undertones. That is knocked out in the taste, clean fresh citrus, long spicy yeast finish.
