Bottle 33 cl. Pours pitch black with a small to medium tan head and an aroma of espresso, dried plums, roasted malts, syrup and toffee. The taste is dry and slightly sweet. The finish is mediumlasting mildly bitter. Surpisingly nice!

Bottle shared by a friend, BB Oct 2017, 15 cl sample. Dark color, medium frothy head. Aroma of roast, some dark choc and fruity dark bread. Medium roasty bitterness, some biscuity sweetness and some dark fruit. Nicely balanced. Good beer.

Thuis geschonken. Geuren van koffie en rozijnen. Smaak van gebrande mout, rozijnen en de koffie is licht aanwezig. De porter is verrassend fris door het aanwezige koolzuur. Een lichte bitterheid en grassige smaak van de hop komt na de eerste overheersende smaken. Lekkere en prettig complexe porter!

33cl bottle at home, shared with a friend. Very coffee, caramel, maybe woody aroma. Very dense, pitch black coloured, porter like beer, with little brown foam. Great taste, not that sweet, full of coffee, wood, raisins, dark fruit. Port on tongue, lovely bitter ending, dry taste.

Bottle from jmgreenuk - thanks! Very nice Porter - sweet and rich. Sticky, slightly boozy. Light mouthfeel and nice malt notes. Good stuff.

Bottle 330 ml at home, into a snifter. ABV 6.1% Black pour on the body with two fingers of brown head. Good density, average retention. Light lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted maltslight chocolate, light raisin. A touch of sourness initially, black olive pit, roasted malts again, the raisins may or may not be there. A touch of pepper on the finish, mildly bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Overall good.

Bottle at yespr. Dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet and roasted aroma of caramel, dried fruits and dark chocolate. Sweet and roasted flavour of dark chocolate, hops and oak. Roasted finish.
