COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Dark brown beer, with dark brown lacing, lasting, slowly settling foam head. Nice coffee aroma, some chocolate tones. Repeating in taste, quite nice bitter coca aftertaste. Thanks Dean for trade. (Velp 201508)

Wow, name any flavor that is related to this style and you will find it. Personally I think it’s a little too much. Mostly liquorice and liquid sugar syrup. Deep aftertaste that starts nice but ends up a little muddy. Still nice. Bottle from Speciaal Bier Winkel.

33cl Bottle from Speciaalbierwinkel Bodegraven. Black colour, huge foamy beige head. Aroma of tar, liquorice, caramel, hard-roasted malts, coffee, hint of berries, lots of booze, wood. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, hard-roasted malts, tar, coffee, oak, dry woody notes, chocolate, firm bitter finish with caramel, sticky. Full-bodied, way over-carbonated, which makes it hard to drink, but very very tasty.

A slow gusher poured with a massive head. Aroma is grassy and woody. Flavour delivers strong roasted bitter malts. Aftertaste has a strong mocha coffee flavour.

Bottled 33cl Tnx Edo. Dark opaque brown color, huge cloudy brownish head. Ashy, vegetably, roasted malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Tobacco, roasted malts, some vegetably notes, alcohol, hints of licorice. Drinkable, but has some new brewery problems in the flavor profile I think.
