500ml bottle in a lager glass. Pours amber with a big, off-white head. Aroma of pale malts, dough, bread, and light floral hops. Flavor about the same. Average texture. Just another German beer.

Copenhagen 28/5 2017. 50 cl bottle with swing cap from Kvickly. Simple label with the Shield from Brauhaus Leikeim - an Heraldic beauty with lions and brewery equipment. Pours hazy golden yellow with creamy white head. Settles as thin transparent layer of foam with lacing along the side of the glass. Moderate lacing. Aroma is pretty weak . Quite malty. Sweet, corny and with a light sour touch. Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is sweetish and malty. Followed by medium sour bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Lingering. Not very surprising - but pretty solid.

Malzig karameliger Geruch. Voller Geschmack, leichte Grasaromen. Olig mit leichter Bitterkeit im Abgang. Sonst angenehm mild.

Hazy deep orange color with frothy beige head. Aroma is mostly grainy with a hint of earthy hops. Taste follows with the grainy notes and some earthy bitterness. It’s not really malty or sweet, quite dry actually. Medium body with medium to low carbonation. Overall it’s a quite rustic feeling beer.
