COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional stone beer brewed with super-heated stones.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2013 Flip top bottle. The oranger shade of amber. Pour leaves a great head but it doesn’t last. Kind of a sweet beer (caramel from the stones, although I don’t know if they really use stones). Bready malts and some fruit flavors which likely come from the yeast. Light on the hops, but the overall effect isn’t too rich.

Nic nadzwyczajnego; jednak bardzo oryginalne piwo. W zapachu troszkę palonych i śladowa ilość wędzonych nut.

Aroma; dusty noble hops, caramel, bread, sweet fruits. Look; misty golden amber, head is pale fawn. Taste; caramel, dusty hops, sweet fruits n tart bread - and finishes organic tarty dusty. Feel; nice body, soft co2. Overall; fully fruity good steinbier. [swingtop bt.50cl abv5.8% xp10.11.17 [email protected] PivotekaH7 6464'14]

500ml swing-top bottle, 5.8 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Shot and smoke when opened. Off-white head, misty orange body, fair lacing. Mid-sweet malt driven aroma, hints of noble hops. Taste of caramel, bread, biscuit, and dried fruit, impression of fruit cake. Rounded mid-sweet malty ending. Nice depth. Decent. (Oktoberfest, Pivoteka H7, Tromsø 26.10.2017).

Bottle. 5.6%. Best before 12.09.17; 17 days past. Pours a hazy/murky, deep orange/amber, with a creamy, light tan head. Good lacing. Somewhat creamy aroma with a note of berries, which takes on a light cooked vegetables note as it warms. Warming also brings out a light malt note. Faint hint of coffee at first, but warming loses this. Flavour is sweetish, with hay, light berries and a cardboard note. Light perfumy note as it warms. Same finish, mildly bitter, with a light hop note to boot. Overall so-so; not bad, but a bit unbalanced, and the cardboard in the flavour is not that good. The berry notes are a nice touch though. 29.09.17.

Botlle. Pours alightly hazy orangeish amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and hops, with some fruity notes. Sweetish, malty flavour with notes of yeast and bitter, hoppy touches, complemented by fruity hints. Estery and malty aftertaste. Quite refreshing and not bad, despite being a macrobrew of a rather unclear style.

Well crafted, with an interesting twist in flavor, rich and tasty. Worth a try.
