(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Sweet and toasty malty nose with caramel and a delicate floral touch in the back. Moderately sweet flavour, slim bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty taste with light notes of caramel and shy hints of vanilla towards the moderately sweet and toasty finish. A bit thin but not bad Dunkel (22.07.08).

imdownthepub (14557) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2008
On tap at Schlenkerla Schranke, Nurnberg. Dark brown with white head. Roasty, malty, a little like a British Mild. Good low carbonation, however there is a lack of bite. A little tinny, but still quite reasonable. Nice and relaxing beer in the shadow of the castle.

2.9
