COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Mildly dark malty aroma with notes of dried fruits, berries, a whiff of caramel and traces of chocolate. Sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dark malt character with strange fruity accents without being infected: berries, strawberries and a tinge of dried fruits, accompanied by shades of caramel and chocolate; sweet and cautious bitter finish, again with a mildly fruity tail. Atypical Dunkel. 12.VII.16

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Sweet and toasty malty nose with caramel and a delicate floral touch in the back. Moderately sweet flavour, slim bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty taste with light notes of caramel and shy hints of vanilla towards the moderately sweet and toasty finish. A bit thin but not bad Dunkel (22.07.08).

Bouteille: Deep ruby-amber coloured, medium-sized and stable and lacy off-white head; mild to moderate clean sweet-bitter nose of toasted malt, caramel and dried fruits; mild to moderate - as well - sweetish-bitter flavour, soft MF, barely medium bodied, drier bitter-toasty finish with fruity and toasty notes. Nothing to complain. An inoffensive, but really pleasant Dunkel...
